Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
The department has a rehabilitation team that includes a physiatrist, therapists and nurses. We also provide a comfortable environment and effective modalities for the patients.
Rehabilitation Department provides space for the following items: electric therapy, hydrotherapy, therapeutic exercise, occupational therapy, speech therapy, splint making. There are also a pediatric rehabilitation development center and a computer cognition training room. Computers and cognition training softwares are used to improve the cognitive level of children patients.
We also provide therapies such as cold therapy, hot therapy (shortwave diathermy, ultrasound, infrared rays, low energy laser, paraffin bath, hydrotherapy, hot pack), electric therapy (interferential current, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, muscle stimulation, magnetic), traction, circulator, FES. Balance and muscle power training equipments are also available.
We arrange comprehensive rehabilitation programs for the following kinds of patients--CNS disease (CVA, SCI, TBI, Parkinson disease, brain tumor, and degeneration), PNS disorder, arthropathy (arthritis, degenerative disease, contracture, disc disease), fracture, surgical repaired soft tissue (nerve, muscle, tendon and ligament), soft tissue injury (strain, sprain, contusion), backache, and cancer.
Pediatric rehabilitation treatments provided include development delay, sensory integration disorder, cerebral palsy, hyperactivity, learning disability, and autism.
